2 former Dorcas Place students
graduated from CCRI. An additional 2 former Bridge
students are scheduled to graduate from CCRI in
2004.
Over 80 percent of college bridge
students have continued their education.
220 students received LRC services
during this first year of operation.
12 students gained work experience
through supervised internships. 5 students completed
job shadows at local work sites.
22 students completed our workforce
readiness and skills-training programs.
6 students entered employment
and began their transition off of welfare.
Over 80 percent of our students
who participated in our college preparatory program
went on to college.
25 students entered permanent
employment, leaving welfare.
Over 80 students participated
in civics education workshops.
40 children attended the COZ After-school
Program, including academic and recreational activities.
44 families participated in the
Providence Even Start family literacy program.
90 families are now enrolled in
the Toyota Family Literacy program that began September
