Personal or Organizational Opportunity Description
Offer Workshops
We offer workshops on a variety of topics that you may choose from. You will find workshop list attached to this Matrix.
  • Complete facilitator notes
  • The intensity and duration may vary depending on facilitator. Suggested time: 2 - 4 hrs.
Provide Motivational Lectures
These may be based on your personal experience as it relates to your current profession.
  • Lectures will be structured by you in collaboration with the WBC Staff.
  • Approximate time: 1.5 to 2 hours
Moderate Study Groups
Study group by profession; having a moderator for these sessions increases productivity.
  • Sessions are ongoing
  • Moderate on an ongoing basis, or for just a few sessions.
  • Each session runs for approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.
Conduct Institutional Tour
Hosting a tour of a health facility is an option for persons who represent a health institution.
  • The tours will be arranged by you, in collaboration with the WBC staff.
  • The allotted time will be set by you
Provide Job Shadowing Opportunity
Participants can obtain exposure to the US Health Care System, observing a profession similar to theirs, in the US.
  • WBC participant can shadow someone that currently works in the health field.
  • Time: Open
Provide Mentoring
One-on-one support and mentoring of our participants, preferably pairing up professionals in similar fields of study.
  • Internationally trained health professionals would benefit from the advice and guidance of a professional trained in the US that is in a profession similar to theirs.
