Dorcas Place earns BBB Accreditation

Dorcas Place Adult and Family Learning Center has been newly accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) by meeting all 20 standards that the BBB requires of charities to demonstrate accountability in their fundraising and management practices.

Designations

Dorcas Place is a Community Impact Partner of the United Way for Building Neighborhood and Adult Independence.

If you participate in a workplace payroll deduction program, you may still name Dorcas Place for designated gifts and pledges through the United Way, State (SECA) and Federal (CFC) Employees Campaigns. (our old donor # 5660 is no longer used)

$2500	1 year of instruction for adult basic literacy, ESOL, and GED preparation
$1000	3 months of workforce readiness training and job placement services
$750	Tuition for Bridge to College course and college transition services
$500	Counseling and assistance in our RI Welcome Back Center for an immigrant health professional seeking employment
$250	Parent-child learning activities in Family Literacy program
$100	Books and supplies for 1 student for 1 year
$75	1 month's transportation to Dorcas Place
